Monterey County Sheriff Tina Nieto had placed a millin dollar Drone purchase on the County Budget Committee agenda despite the Supervisors entirely rejecting FLOCK Surveillance Cameras and ordering existing FLOCK Cameras taken down barely 2 weeks earlier.
Good and Bad News: The Budget Committee did not approve it, but her proposal is coming back.
According to County Administrative Secretary, Rocio Quezada, the Budget Committee did not take any action, but
they did send it to the Whole Board of Supervisors for the Meeting of Oct 22.
